These terms apply to fixinbudget.com and to garage door services provided by Fix in Budget Garage Door Services (“Fix in Budget”, “we”, “us”). By using the website or booking a service, you agree to them.
Our services
We provide garage door repair, spring and cable replacement, opener repair and installation, roller replacement, maintenance, new door installation, and commercial overhead door service in Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Leduc, Beaumont, Nisku, Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding areas.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are free. Price ranges on the website and over the phone are estimates. Our technician confirms the final price on site after inspecting the door and before work starts. We do not start work until you approve the price.
Booking and arrival times
Arrival times are estimates. Weather, traffic, and other emergency calls can change them. We will call or text you if we are running late.
Emergency and same-day service
We offer 24/7 emergency and same-day service where our schedule allows. Availability depends on your location and demand at the time of your call.
Payment
We accept cash and online payment. Payment is due when the work is complete unless we agree otherwise in writing.
“Fixed Right or It’s Free” guarantee
If we do not fix the problem we were hired to repair on the first visit, you do not pay for that repair. This guarantee:
- Applies only to the repair work described and approved on your quote
- Does not cover new or unrelated problems found after the repair
- Does not cover parts or products supplied by someone else
- Does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, weather or other people’s work after our visit
- Does not apply where we told you before starting that a full fix was not possible, for example because the door is badly damaged or a part must be ordered
Warranty
Our work and the parts we supply carry warranties on labour and parts. The length and terms are given on your quote or invoice. Warranties do not cover misuse, accidents, damage from other people’s work, or normal wear.
Your responsibilities
Please make sure we can reach the door and the area around it, and tell us about any known issues. Garage door springs and cables are under high tension and can cause serious injury. Do not try to repair them yourself.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Please tell us as soon as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Using this website
The text, photos and logos on this site belong to Fix in Budget or are used with permission. Please do not copy or reuse them without our permission. Information on the site is general and is not a substitute for a technician’s inspection.
